Theft Ability User can target any non-living object and have it automatically teleport into their hands. The user must be able to picture the object and where it is. The more specific and detailed the picture, the more smoothly the transition goes without any collateral damage.
"We might be related, but we were never family."
A drunkard with water powers. The twist, though, is that the drunkard is not a drunkard. The drunkard actually just drinks a lot of water to stay hydrated but acts like a drunkard so people let their guard down.
A peaceful Healer ally who can fight a little, but is mostly a friendly healer. The band of protagonists comes across the Hero, the legendary warrior who stopped the psychotic killer in the past. The Hero recognizes the Healer, and asks to speak with the Protagonist. "Why do you have them on your team?" "Huh? Because they're a really good healer and a really good person." The Hero scoffs and proceeds to warn the Protagonist that the Healer is a dangerous person who's not to be trusted. The Healer overhears this and is bothered. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Back then, the Healer was the Killer that the Hero had stopped. They'd been addicted to the thrill of murder, hearing the screams and splatters of the victims they killed. After the Hero stopped them, they were chased down deep into the mountains to survive alone, where they came across an isolated
A forcefield that not only stops an attack, but hits back with the impact it deflected. Someone with this power (A) pairs with someone who has high attack and defense (B). (B) will get up to a high point, and jump down, striking (A)'s forcefield. The impact sends (B) flying, like a human cannonball. Great for infiltrating, invading, or just generally going a great distance quickly.
In a world of powers, a strong, silent type whose power is assumed to be increased strength because of how strong they are. In the time of need, though, when the protagonist team is surrounded and about to be captured, it's revealed that the person's power is actually a supersonic scream.
A shadow/persona/spirit of a person that strangles all those the person doesn't like, even the person themself if it came to that.
Group of people stranded on an island. Everyone starts foraging, building, etc. One person, though, just goes to sleep. Everyone is upset that that person's being lazy at a time like this, but they still have survival to worry about. The next morning, though, they find their stores fuller than they remember and their unfinished construction just a little more complete. Turns out the lazy person is just a nocturnal type of person.
"I am not worthless!" He looked at me with confusion. "Isn't this what you wanted, though? Everyone's stopped asking you for help, you can lie around being lazy all you want."
Person with ice powers who prefers warm places and summers rather than cold places and winter. "My ice powers grant me resistance to the heat, but if it gets too cold, there's not much I can do about it."
Someone with ridiculously high attack power and speed, but very low defense. Whenever they fight, battles end with just one strike, and they come out the victor. They're really just bored with all the fighting, but people keep challenging them, and because of their poor defensive capabilities, they're forced to actually fight in order to not get hurt or killed.
Person who came from a bad part of a neighborhood, and has a drug problem. When asked about how they turned to drugs, though, it's revealed that they're a kleptomaniac and they happened to steal drugs because that was the most common thing around. Not wanting it to go to waste, they used it themselves and that's just been continuing on this whole time. They'd stop if they were able to stop stealing so many drugs.
"Well aren't you a right and proper arsehole."
"I can't knock them out. I'm only trained in murder, not passive submission."
A reverse empath. Rather than feeling what others feel, others feel what they feel. Sounds lame, but think of the possibilities. A lover of humanity who manages to bring even the most heartless of killers to justice without landing a single punch. A warmonger who inspires all around them to fight, whether it be others or themselves. A joker-level maniac who brings out the madness in others until all around them is utter madness and anarchy. There are so many possibilities.
